Our board is run entirely on a volunteer basis by local business owners and executives. Their objective is to promote business growth throughout our community by supporting our chamber members and our business community. Each member is elected to the board for a 3-year term.

The Board of Directors is the elected policy-making body of the Chamber whose members represent the business and professional leadership of the community.
The Board of Directors is responsible for approving the annual Business Plan and supporting budget, receiving and acting on committee reports and recommendations, and for directing the general activities of the organization. It is further responsible for assuring that policy determinations, once made, are acted upon.
You must be a current Garner Chamber of Commerce member in good standing to serve on the Board of Directors. Those who are not Chamber members are invited to inquire about membership to become eligible.
All submissions for nominations to the Board of Directors must be received at the Chamber Prior to January 31 each year. Please email your nominations to director@garneriowachamber.com or bring to the Chamber Office.
